Binding: Nineteenth-century full polished calf, double gilt fillet forming a border. Gilt gauffered edges. Five false raised bands, sewn on three cords. Gilt tooling on spine, lettered direct in gilt on spine: "Blagdon's European in India". Marbled endpapers. Edges sprinkled brown. Joints broken, upper board loose.
