Manuscript inscription at foot of title page: sixteenth-century[?], illegible. Manuscript inscription [crossed-out] on p. 254: "A nobili et frientisin[?] viro gilberto de marillac dono accepim[us]" [i.e. Gilbert de Marillac (ca. 1495-1551), Baron de Puisac et de Sainct-Genest]. Binding: eighteenth-century sprinkled calf; gilt roll pattern on board edges; gold-tooled spine, with gilt title and date labels. All edges gilt.
