Summary
A red and white card garment tag, on the front a red background with 'CREPEA FABRICS SIXLINE GUARANTEE' between which sits the image of a circle with three lines coming from the base to form a triangle with three wavy lines at the base. Kept in the book 'Country Hoard' by Alison Uttley (1884-1976) (record 3167757) alongside a green paper invoice number 'S23772' addressed to 'M William Straw Esq:, 7, Blyth Grove, Worksop Notts.' dated 'April. 3. 19 50.' from 'Dr. TO A. & F. DENNY, LTD. BOOKSELLERS 31 - 33. QUEEN VICTORIA STREET, LONDON. E.C.4 Also at 163a Strand W. C. 1 Telephone CITY 1896 1897 1898'. The lower section is obscured by a white paper receipt 'No. 22225' addressed '31-33 Queen Victoria St. London, E.C.4' (record 748623).
