Inscription on flyleaf: Chaloner William Chute with the very best wishes of his friend Charles Robert Carrington. On his leaving Eton Xmas 1856. Binding: Nineteenth-century old-style full calf over boards; blind double border and centrepiece; gilt tools; blind-panelled spine five raised bands; brown spine label with title ‘Spenser’.
