Brown paper envelope containing a series of A. On the front side with the envelope in a landscape plane has a black triangular postal mark starting at the left with '700' stamped inside and seven wavy lines to the right. On the right top corner is a burgundy postage stamp with Queen Elizabeth II head facing left surrounded by a wreath of flowers and '2d.POSTAGE REVENUE 2d.' underneath. The same black postal mark as the one on the left runs over the stamp. In the centre is an address 'W. & W. W. Straw, 7, Blyth Grove, Worksop.' Handwritten by William Jnr. on the front over the address in portrait orientation; 'MR A. L. The limestone crags of Creswell, Near Worksop are situate in a lovely enclosed dale flanked on either sides with hazel growth, oak and ash trees whose roots penetrate among the many fissures....'.
