Summary
A small white envelope stuck by the flap to the inside cover of the book 'Arbor Low' by J. Percy Heathcote (record 3167075). The envelope contains three photographs, two newspaper cuttings and a handwritten note from W.H.Stotts. The second of three photographs shows a group of six men and one women behind a light stone formation, William Jnr. is on the far right with a flat cap and Walter stood next to him in a trilby. The image is in landscape black and white with a small white border. On the back is written in pencil 'Arborlow 1958' the '8' has been scored and replaced with a '7'. Under this is a printers mark 'ROSE MAGNA PRINT K373'. 'Within the finds at Arbor Low 22nd June, 1957. L & R. William Straw, _____?____, Walter. W. Straw M. Jackson, A. L. Armstrong, W. V. Mekin & "Ringo" from Retford.'
