Ephemera: tipped-in manuscript notes listing the names of the authors of The Rolliad and the satires, by James Mackintosh, 1804 (with postscript dated 1823) [presumably Sir James Mackintosh (1765-1832)]. At head of note in a different hand is the inscription: "(Copy J. Wright)". Manuscript notes in the hand of James Mackinstosh at the head of most of the satires and poems, naming the author. Pencil annotation on p.xxxii. Provenance: manuscript inscription on front free endpaper: "R.W. Ketton-Cremer / Felbrigg 1950" [i.e. Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)]. Capital letter "R" written in pencil on front free endpaper. Capital letter "K" written in pencil on verso of frontispiece. Binding: twentieth-century full brown cloth; blind fillets on spine; spine lettered direct (gilt tooled): 'The Rolliad' and '1812'; blind edge rolled; note on front free endpaper in the hand of R.W. Ketton-Cremer: "rebound 1956".
