Binding: late nineteenth-century full publisher's red cloth; single blind fillet to form outer border; double gilt fillet to form panel on upper board; gilt lettered title and gilt centerpiece within panel (female figure with shield holding out a cup with a child beside her, both within an oval with a cherub above holding a wreath); double blind fillet to form panel on lower board; gilt lettering on spine.
