Those only face, or front, are taken from the tracing made & published by Dr Lepsius, those on ye back which had not been given by him, were made by me in order to supply that omission ...' Provenance: Nineteenth-century armorial bookplate: 'John Gardner Wilkinson Brynfield House.' [i.e. Sir John Gardner Wilkinson (1795-1875)]. Binding: Nineteenth-century half plum leather, dark-green cloth sides. Plum leather label on front board, with title in gilt: 'Turin papyrus of kings'. This title also vertically on spine.
