Binding: nineteenth-century red morocco; double gilt fillet border; gilt roll patterns on board edges and turn-ins; gold-tooled spine, with inset black and gilt rosettes. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Binder's ink-stamp on front fly-leaf: 'Bound by Riviere'.
