Provenance: v. 23 contains inscription in grey pencil on endpaper: "Scarsdale" [? Alfred Nathaniel Holden Curzon, 4th Baron Scarsdale (1831–1916)]. Binding: Nineteenth-century publisher's full purple-brown cloth, blind ornamental fillet forming a border, gilt lettering on spine. Some volumes have unopened pages.
