Armorial bookplate on title page verso and fol. 325r (first page of vol. 2): 'Sr. William Dawes Baronet 1704' [probably Sir William Dawes, 3rd Baronet (1671-1724), later Bishop of Chester and Archbishop of York]. Binding: seventeenth-century full calf; double gilt fillet border; gilt fillet panels on spines, with gilt stamps and title lettered directly onto spines.
