Inserted between flyleaf and half-title page, a letter from the author [i.e. Herbert Trench] to Curzon, dated 7 July 1908, referring to the latter assisting with the poem 'Apollo and the seaman'. Inscribed on half-title page: 'The Lord Curzon of Kedlestone from his friend + admirer H.T. [i.e. Herbert Trench]'. Binding: Twentieth-century publisher's full brown cloth, gilt lettering direct on spine and upper cover. Some deckle edges.
