White receipt - '25121 31-32 Queen Victoria St. No. London E.C.4 Received from William Straw Esq: the sum of two pounds Fifteen sillings and ------- pence for A. & F. Denny, Ltd. With thanks H R Davey Date 24 9 51 19'. There is a red postage stamp in the bottom right corner of the receipt depicting King George VI looking left with a crown above and '2D' beneath and the words 'POSTAGE REVENUE' either side. In blue pen written across the stamp '£2.15-0'. The back is plain. The invoice is kept in the book 'A king's story. . The memoirs of H.R.H. the Duke of Windsor K.G. With frontispiece and 22 pages of gravure illustrations.' by King Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor (1894-1972) (record 3151575). There are also four newspaper cuttings in the book (records 748792-748795).
