Provenance: member's copy: Adelaide Watt (1857-1921) was a life member of the Society. Many of the vols. contain postage cards addressed to Adelaide at Speke Hall. Binding: publisher's green cloth, gilt-lettered and with Society's device on front covers. Vols. 67-73 retain original paper wrappers. Binder's label on rear pastedown of vols. 64-68 : 'Jas. Truscott & Son, Ltd. Printers, bookbinders, &c., Suffolk Lane, London, E.C.'. Vol. 66 contains a printed form from the binders James Truscott & Son, Ltd., stating that from vol. 66 the Society intends to issue the Journal in paper covers only, and for members to make arrangements with the company to get the volumes uniformly bound.
