A letter is pasted in at the foot of p. 825, dated 10 June 1878, addressed to 'Mr Winn' [presumably Rowland Winn, 1st Baron St Oswald (1820-1893) from Edward Peacock (1831-1915), reporting that Peacock and his wife had located details of a law suit in 1629 which would have helped his case at the Public Record Office.
