With annotations in his hand.. Binding: Sewn on 4 tawed supports. Sixteenth/sevententh-century calf, blind-tooled with fillet frame and oval strapwork centepiece on boards. Fillets on spine. Spine repaired at head and tail, twentieth? century. Edges stained red. With pieces of medieval manuscript used as endleaves; a text with interlinear and marginal glosses and some red and blue rubrication. With a 12cm blank margin at the bottom of the parchment: little actual text visible.
