(i.e. Hannibal Gamon, (1582?-1651), Rector of St. Mawgan in Pydar.). In same hand at head of t-p 'Anno Xi: 270. sin 330. ...' With sporadic ink underlinings in text.. Binding: Sixteenth-century dark calf. Blind-tooled double frame of filets, with gilt-tooled corner pieces and centrepiece. Tooling very worn. Holes in fore-edges of boards from ties. Edges stained yellow. Printed waste used as endpapers: sixteenth-century italic type, small format, running hendeading 'De ratione scrib.' '17' in ink on fore-edge, orientated to be read with book standing on its tail. Twentieth-century pastedowns and endpapers.
