Provenance: In ink on recto of final leaf, in sixteenth-century secretary hand, cropped, 'Antony Morley ... he that stles thes boke...'. If once bound with the 'Metamorphoses' at F.11.25 then also: 'J Phillip Gamon', from his father, Hannibal Gamon (1582?-1651), Rector of St. Mawgan in Pydar.); 'Thomas Chaple'; 'Edward Soard[?]s his boak'.. Binding: Nineteenth-century quarter leather and cloth. With disused stitching holes in gutter margin. These match those in the copy of Ovid Metamorphoses at F.11.24, which may therefore have been bound together.
