Vol.1 has laid loose at p.256 a pencil sketch headed "Anglo-Saxon Tower", and signed "Rita Bowden".. Binding: Publisher's full black cloth, blind stamped frame and illustration on front cover; gilt lettered direct, and with gilt stamped illustration and volume page numbers on the spine. Spines damaged, cracked at hinges and split.
