Binding: Twentieth-century full green morocco; double gilt fillet to form an outer border with gilt tooled shamrock pattern and gilt stamped cornerpieces of shamrock plant on upper board; single gilt fillet to form an outer border on lower board; sewn onto five raised bands; spine lettered direct (gilt tooled): 'A little tour in Ireland' and 'Illustrations by Leech' with gilt tooled shamrocks in remaining spine compartments; gilt rolled board edges and turn-ins; gilt textblock edges; marbled endpapers. Binder's gilt stamp on front turn-in: 'Bound by Birdsall, Northampton & London'. Original green cloth wrappers retained.
