[i.e. Edith Helen Chaplin, m. in 1899 Charles 7th Marquess of Londonderry]. Motto in Scottish Gaelic over portrait ("Tha mo cridhe's an tir nam beann" [My heart is in the land of mountains]). Binding: Twentieth-century half mottled calf on marbled paper over boards; Gilt armorial stamp displaying Vane-Tempest-Stewart marshalled with Chaplin under a marquess coronet with charges and motto (Metuenda corolla draconis) [Edith, Marchioness of Londonderry]. Gilt-tooled on spine, black leather spine label, lettered in gilt. Gilt-top. Bookbinder's ticket on lower pastedown: W. Erskine Mayne 3, Donegall Sq. W. Belfast.
