With more cuttings pasted into Vol.II relating to a series of Celtic lectures in Glasgow in 1907, and a cutting from the Oban Times announcing the death of Alfred Nutt. Pencil inscription on title page of Vol. I by Nutt's name: "Drowned in the Seine May 1910". Provenance: Inscribed on endpaper: William Maitling [?] Crofters Commission 1895. Stamped in purple with an eye of Horus and the date 30 Oct 1943. Binding: Nineteenth-century publisher's quarter green spine on green paper over boards. Leaves untrimmed.
