Newspaper cutting dated in pencil at the top '8TH FEB. 1963'. Cutting reads 'WORKSOP MASONIC LODGE Centenary Celebrations - In Nottingham Old Days recalled: Pioneers Praised The Pelham Masonic Lodge, Worksop, No 939 in the register of the Grand Lodge of England, last week celebrated the centen-ary of its foundation with a special meeting and dinner at the Masonic Hall, Nottingham, the first time it has ever met outside Worksop. The Lodge has an interesting history, and in compiling it the officials have uncovered some little known masonic records. For a period of 83 years the Pelham was the only Masonic Lodge in the town but it was not the first one......' On the back of the cutting an advert for 'H.L.Brown & Son Ltd' wedding rings.
