(Not in Franks) [i.e. Wilmot Vaughn (1730-1800), 4th Viscount Lisburne from 1766 to 1776, when he was created 1st Earl]. Nineteenth-century armorial bookplate on rear pastedown: Ex libris D. Roussel. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Binding: Eighteenth-century full mottled calf over boards; blind fillet; gilt inner border; brown leather spine labels with title 'Mandrag Clito di Machiavel. La Caprar .. .[etc.]'; sewn on five raised bands.
