Provenance: manuscript inscription on title pages: "C H Suffield" [i.e. Lady Caroline Hobart Harbord, Baroness Suffield (1767-1850)]. Binding: nineteenth-century half-bound gold-tooled calf, with marbled paper over boards; gold-tooled spines; gilt title and vol. number lettered directly onto spines. Marbled textblock edges. Dark green endpapers.
