156 leaves . 8vo.. Not indigenous. Provenance: Sixteenth-century inscription on title page: Ex Bibliotheca Villelujpen [or Villeluppen], with monograms "R.E.E." (?) and "W" (?) in same hand, and some marginal marks in text. Eighteenth-century armorial bookplate lettered The Right Honourable Wilmot, Viscount Lisburne, in the Kingdom of Ireland. (Not in Franks) [i.e. Wilmot Vaughn (1730-1800), 4th Viscount Lisburne from 1766 to 1776, when he was created 1st Earl]. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Loosely inserted: slip of manuscript notes by Norris. Binding: Eighteenth-century full calf over boards; gilt spine tools; sewn on five raised bands.
