Twentieth-century armorial bookplate (large variant), signed Badeley 1930: ‘Urban Huttleston Rogers Lord Fairhaven’ [i.e.: Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966)]. Binding: Nineteenth-century full Russia calf, gilt fillets and rolls and blind rolls to form a panel design; four raised bands; rebacked, spine completely replaced (twentieth-century); gilt tooled spine, lettered direct (gilt tooled): 'Daniell's Voyage round Great Britain' and 'Vol. 1 & 2'; single gilt fillet on board edges; gilt rolled turn-ins; marbled textblock edges and endpapers.
