Binding: Nineteenth-century full dark blue cloth; upper board gilt stamped: title within garland of flowers, double fillet to form an outer border; lower board: gilt stamped centrepiece of circle surrounded by fleur de lils and leaves, blind stamped double fillet to form an outer border with leafy garland as an inner border; recessed cords; gilt stamped spine, lettered direct: 'The Isle of Wight'; gilt textblock edges. Binder's ticket on rear pastedown: 'Bound by Lovejoy, Reading'.
