[i.e. note by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966), identifying this copy as having been presented to his father, Urban Hanlon Broughton (1857-1929)]. Provenance: Twentieth-century armorial bookplate (large variant), signed Badeley 1930: ‘Urban Huttleston Rogers Lord Fairhaven’ [i.e.: Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966)]. Binding: Twentieth-century full vellum; double gilt fillet (thick and thin) to form a border; recessed cords; spine title lettered direct (gilt tooled); single gilt fillet on board edges; double gilt fillet on turn-ins; gilt top edge; marbled endpapers; blue ribbon marker (detached). Binder's stamp on front turn-in: 'Bound by Zaehnsdorf, London, England.'. In white cloth-covered box, gilt stamped: 'Robson & Co. Ltd. W.1.'.
