Binding: Nineteenth-century full calf; double gilt fillet to form an outer border; sewn onto four recessed cords; five false bands; gilt tooled spines; brown morocco spine label, gilt lettered: 'Staunton's Shakespeare. / II.'; green morocco spine label, gilt lettered with contents; gilt rolled board edges; blind rolled turn-ins; marbled textblock edges and endpapers.
