Binding: Twentieth-century quarter grained leather binding; grained cloth over boards; lettered on front flyleaf: "Birdsall & Son Northampton"; spine gilt ruled and lettered: "Effigies etc. in the Temple Church - Richardson - 1843-5".

Provenance

Part of the Bristol Collection. The house and contents were acquired through the National Land Fund and transferred to the National Trust in 1956
