Bibliographic description

2v. . 8vo.. Provenance: manuscript inscription on title page: "Hervey from his sincere friend Godfrey James Wigiam [?] on his leaving Eton Election 1851" [possibly Frederick William John Hervey (1834-1907), later 3nd Marquess of Bristol]. Binding: Full tan leather binding; double gilt fillet and blind tooled border; spine gilt lettered: "Lover's Legends & Stories. 1848".

Provenance

Part of the Bristol Collection. The house and contents were acquired through the National Land Fund and transferred to the National Trust in 1956
