Binding: Nineteenth-century full tan calf; triple blind fillet border with gilt armorial centrepiece; twentieth-century rebacked spine gilt decorated and lettered: "Xenophontis operae. Vol. I. 1838".

Part of the Bristol Collection. The house and contents were acquired through the National Land Fund and transferred to the National Trust in 1956.
