This book was sent to me by my dear sister Louisa about two months before her death. - B" and with a portrait of the Countess of Liverpool stuck on the front flyleaf [Louisa Theodosia Hervey (1770-1821), 2nd Countess of Liverpool, sister of Frederick William Hervey (1769-1859), 1st Marquess of Bristol]. Binding: Nineteenth-century full diced calf; gilt and blind tooled borders; twentieth-century rebacked spine gilt decorated and lettered: "Paley's Sermons. 1818".

Part of the Bristol Collection. The house and contents were acquired through the National Land Fund and transferred to the National Trust in 1956
