3v. . 8vo.. Imperfect: vol. 3 only. Prev. in Roofspace Box 3. Many scribbles on end flyleaves, including repeated 'Edward' and 'Ward' (not adjacent). Gathering BBb loose, CCc detached. Provenance: Early signatures on title page: 'Edw. Cabel' 'Willia[m] Crowe' and another crossed through and illegible. Signature upside-down on verso of first end flyleaf: 'Ric / Richard Cust' [= Sir Richard Cust, bart. (1622-1700)]. Bookplate: Lord Brownlow's Grantham House. Binding: Sixteenth or seventeenth-century calf (worn; leather torn on boards and spine), sewn on four cords. Triple fillet borders, decorative blind centre-piece on both boards. Spine with four raised bands, rules, and diagonal pattern at head and tail. No volume number on spine, but '3' in ink or fore-edge. In conservation tissue.
