Loosely inserted: letter, dated 6 Dec '56, addressed to: "My dear Harold" and signed 'K.' [presumably Kenneth McKenzie Clark, Baron Clark, 1903-1983], thanking Nicolson for review; with separate envelope addressed (in a different hand) to: The Hon V. Sackville-West CH Sissinghurst Castle, postmarked: Maidstone 16 Nov 195[7?] Provenance: signed in ink on pastedown: Harold Nicolson. Sissinghurst Nov. 1956. Binding: publisher's red cloth, gold lettered spine.
