Pencil text marking, with rear endpaper annotation and page references. Loosely inserted typescript letter signed with unidentified monogram to Harold Nicolson, sending work for review, reference to 'Lakin'; headed: 10 & 12 Orange Street, Leicester Square, London ...; dated: June 14th 1934. Provenance: pastedown inscribed: "Harold Nicolson / Sissinghurst 1934". Binding: publisher's red cloth, gold lettered spine.
