[1] leaf . 27x32cm.. Bound at p.328 of Fullarton's Gazetteer (article 'Fayum', which includes information from Wilkinson). 'His map of the Feioom was later published by Arrowsmith' (Jason Thompson 'Sir Gardner Wilkinson', footnote p.63; no date given). This is probably the map listed as present in at least one presentation copy of Wilkinson's 'Materia hieroglyphica', 1828, but it is not present in Wilkinson's own copy of that work. Provenance: Nineteenth-century armorial bookplate: 'John Gardner Wilkinson Brynfield House.' [i.e. Sir John Gardner Wilkinson (1795-1875)]. Binding: Nineteenth-century publisher's full black cloth.
