Nineteenth-century armorial bookplate lettered Marmion Edwd. Ferrers. Baddesley Clinton. (Franks 10424) [i.e. Marmion Edward Ferrers (1813-1884), of Baddesley Clinton in Warwickshire]. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Perhaps bought by him at Baddesley Clinton sale in 1940, but no inscription.. Binding: Nineteenth-century full sprinkled calf over boards; spines gilt; red and black leather spine labels.
