Eighteenth-century armorial bookplate lettered The Right Honourable Wilmot, Viscount Lisburne, in the Kingdom of Ireland. (Not in Franks) [i.e. Wilmot Vaughn (1730-1800), 4th Viscount Lisburne from 1766 to 1776, when he was created 1st Earl]. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Binding: Eighteenth-century full calf over boards; gilt fillet and cornerpieces; gilt-rolled edges and inner border; spine gilt; brown spine label; sewn on four raised bands; green ribbon bookmark sewn in.
