Eighteenth-century armorial bookplate lettered The Right Honourable Wilmot, Viscount Lisburne, in the Kingdom of Ireland. (Not in Franks) [i.e. Wilmot Vaughn (1730-1800), 4th Viscount Lisburne from 1766 to 1776, when he was created 1st Earl]. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Binding: Seventeenth-century (?) full dark pigskin (?) binding; double gilt fillet; gilt cornerpieces; gilt spine fillets and tools; sewn on four raised bands.
