In same hand, MS note on flyleaf: "Purchased at the Revd. Mark Noble's sale. 387. [price:] 2.4.0. 225 copies were printed on common paper. 25 [copies were printed] on fine paper. Most of which were destroyed by the fire that consumed Mr. Nichols printing office Feb. 8. 1888. See Jepcotts Topography". [Rev. Mark Noble (1754-1827), rector of Barningham, Kent, and author of 'History of the College of Arms' (1804) and other works]. In a different hand, also nineteenth-century: "This work is become so extremely rare that it is sold by Nicholls for Đ4.4.0 per copy." MS note in a later hand on pastedown: By Richard Gough.
