[i.e. presumably from Sir Lyonel Felix Cartaret Eugene Tollemache (1854-1952), 4th baronet Tollemache, who inherited Ham House in 1935 and gave it to the National Trust 1948]. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Norman Norris (1917-1991). Inscribed on flyleaf in Norris's hand: Hodgson 1943 Đ1/6/10 24 June.. Binding: Nineteenth-century full straight-grained brown morocco over boards; blind tools within double gilt fillets to form a border; spine gilt with title "Monmouth's Memoirs. Naunton's O. Elizabeth". sewn on five raised bands.
