Provenance: nineteenth-century armorial bookplate: “Marmion Edwd. Ferrers. Baddesley Clinton” [i.e. Marmion Edward Ferrers (1813-1884)]. Bookseller's label on upper paste-down: "W. Wood, High Street, Birmingham". Binding: half calf with marbled paper boards; marbled endpapers and edges; spine: blind and gilt-tooled; black labels with gilt lettering.
