Binding: Twentieth-century full red morocco; triple gilt fillet to form an outer border on boards; sewn onto five recessed cords; five false bands; gilt tooled spine, lettered direct (gilt tooled): '"Ask Mamma"' and 'Surtees'; double gilt fillet on board edges; gilt fillets and rolls on turn-ins; gilt textblock edges.
