Forms part of a set with 6 other Surtees novels, one of which is inscribed by Norris: "H. [i.e. Hodgson's] 31/7 42 Lot 420 Đ8-8".. Binding: Nineteenth-century half red morocco; marbled boards; gilt spine fillet and tools; gilt spine title; sewn on five raised bands.
