Binding: Twentieth-century full blue morocco; inlaid multicoloured circular centrepiece on upper board: road through fields with hills in the background; sewn onto two raised bands, three recessed cords; inlaid brown morocco signpost on spine; red spine label, gilt lettered: 'The week-end book'; single gilt fillet on board edges; double gilt fillet on turn-ins; gilt textblock edges. Binder's gilt stamp on front turn-in: 'Bound by Zaehnsdorf, London, England.'
