Binding: Early twentieth-century full publisher's grey cloth; dark grey, black and gilt blocked illustration on upper board: abbey and village; gilt lettering on upper board and spine; dark grey and black blocked illustration on spine: bishop's mitre, crozier and ring on a shield; gilt top edge.
