Twentieth-century armorial bookplate (small variant), signed Badeley 1930: ‘Urban Huttleston Rogers Lord Fairhaven’ [i.e.: Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966)] in both vols. Binding: Nineteenth-century full red morocco; gilt and blind tooling to form a panel design; sewn onto five recessed cords; five false bands; spines gilt, lettered direct (gilt-tooled): 'Cambridge portfolio' and "Vol. I[-II].'; single gilt fillet on board edges; triple gilt fillet on turn-ins; gilt textblock edges.
